Up bright and early today! 5am as I had to be with my lovely bride by approx 6am at her home. I did all the bridal parties hair and then popped the mother of the bride into my car, along with the brides wedding dress and headed on an hours journey to the stunning Gosfield Hall where I completed the hairstyles and carried out makeup for all. Photos below. First photo is Faye, very relaxed without any sign of stress! This was taken approx one hour before her wedding.
Off to Lovely Leez tomorrow to meet a Anita who is getting married tomorrow afternoon. Anita did not have a trial so we are both meeting for the first time on her wedding day.
Here are a few photos of a recent bride that married at Leez Priory. Also I met with I lovely bride yesterday, Chloe, who is also getting married at Leez Priory in July. Chloe has very straight blonde hair and she opted for loose soft curls, very simple and romantic. Here are photos of Marie at Leez recently and also of Chloe yesterday at her hair and makeup trial.
Today I met with a lovely bride to be, Sam. Sam is half Jamaican and has afro type hair and she advised me that she did not warn me in advance of her hair type incase I turned her away. This most surprised me as I find all hair a joy to work with and anything different to the normal is always an enjoyable challenge for me. Sam felt that many like herself, are often turned away or met with hesitation due to her hair type and sometimes salon prices are more expensive as they have to have a senior member of staff work with their hair. This explains why I hardly have any customers with this type of hair visit me. I welcome everyone with every kind of hair and I wish more ladies like Sam would come to me so I can prove that they can have wonderful bridal hairstyles with their beautiful hair. I trained as a Makeup Artist in London alongside some of the industries most famous makeup artists. You will often find me at Masterclasses, keeping up to date with the latest trends. My aim is for my brides to looked absolutely stunning on their wedding day and that they enjoy receiving endless compliments about their hair and makeup all day long.
